Specialists of economy and finances praise the visit of the so-called investment locations consultants in Georgia.
Doctor of Economy Valerian Chagiashvili says that Georgia should have done this earlier, as its market can happen to be attractive for many investors that even do not know it yet.
He says many countries apply the method to attract investors for particular locations.
Financer Levan Abuladze thinks that Georgia should use all its energy and finances to attract investments.
He says it will be the most reasonable step that will help economic stimulation.
''Such activities are better than all kinds of subsidies and money distribution,'' he added.
The international investment consultants will visit Georgia in September. They will see the investment environment, hold meetings with public and private sector officials, and receive detailed information on Georgia's investment opportunities.
The Economic Ministry has launched negotiations with 50 leading business counseling companies. It happens for the first time.
Economic Ministry, LEPL Produce in Georgia, and USAID Economic Security Program are the process organizers.
