''It is of utmost importance for us to see Georgia is launching a collaboration with the global MasterCard system in the tourism field,'' Georgian Minister of Economy Natia Turnava said after attending a meeting between Georgian PM and MasterCard Vice President.
In Turnava's words, the MasterCard company and the National Tourism Administration of Georgia will sign a deal of collaboration tomorrow.
Turnava says that the MasterCard Vice President is visiting Georgia as part of the UN World Tourism Administration ministerial.
''MasterCard has been studying the tourists' behavior and choice for years,'' Turnava says, adding that the global company is ready to share its knowledge with the National Administration of Tourism of Georgia to help it develop tourism better.
''It is crucial after the COVID-19 pandemic,'' Turnava claimed.
