The novel coronavirus pandemic has caused considerable changes in the world tourism, with Georgia no exception.

Georgian Minister of Economy and Sustainable Development Natia Turnava has named the areas of tourism that will be far relevant for the entire world after the pandemic ends.

Minister Turnava made this statement during the presentation of the tourism recovery plan developed by the Georgian government.

In her words, health tourism, adventure tourism, eco and agro-tourism, wine tourism, protected areas, and mountain resorts are the areas.

''We already have the new highly-demanded tourist products that pose to become more relevant after the pandemic ends. These are the activities related to the open area, where people can enjoy tourist services and avoid crowds as well,'' Turnava declared.

The Georgian government decided to resume tourism in three phases.
