Georgia's Minister of Economy and Sustainable Development Natia Turnava held a video conference with Minister of Transport and Communications of Lithuania Jaroslav Narkevic today.
"We discussed when we could resume flights," Natia Turnava said after the video conference.
"Currently, we are getting ready for the opening of the tourist season. We are in constant communication with our colleagues, especially with the countries from where we wait for tourists. Importantly, Wizz Air has already shown a desire to resume regular flights between Vilnius and Kutaisi, and with two other Baltic countries as well,'' Natia Turnava said.
"We are working to resume direct flights with all three Baltic States. We will do everything to host tourists from these countries starting on July 1," Minister Turnava said.
