Georgian, Croatian PMs discuss preparation for EaP Summit

Georgian Prime Minister Giorgi Gakharia held a meeting with Croatian PM Andrej Plenković in Davos, Switzerland, today.

The parties discussed Georgia – Croatia collaboration in the European integration process and the upcoming Eastern Partnership summit that should elaborate a new vision on the Eastern Partnership's future.

The parties also discussed the expectations of the Eastern Partnership countries and explained the process of preparation for the summit, adding that both countries are intensively getting ready.

Giorgi Gakharia spoke with Andrej Plenkovic about the severe condition in terms of human rights in the Russia-occupied regions of Georgia.

Croatian PM Plenkovic reiterated Croatia's firm support to Georgia's territorial integrity and sovereignty.

The parties also highlighted a significant potential of the two countries to develop bilateral economic relations.
