"Trilateral cooperation between Georgia, Azerbaijan, and Turkey is paramount for the entire region," Georgian Foreign Minister Davit Zalkaliani said at the joint briefing with his Turkish counterpart Mevlüt Çavuşoğlu.
In Davit Zalkaliani's words, energy and infrastructure projects by the three countries are not only of regional but also international significance.
"They are initiating new cooperation platforms in the region. We consider that these platforms, first of all, must be in line with the principles of sovereignty and territorial integrity," Zalkaliani declared, adding that his visit to Turkey would facilitate the further strengthening of strategic partnerships between the two countries.
