In January-February 2021, Georgian goods worth 12.8 million dollars were sold in Azerbaijan. We are talking about local exports without re-exports. On an annual basis, the rate has increased by 18%. Azerbaijan's market share in the country's domestic exports is equal to 3.5%, making it the ninth largest exporter of Georgia in domestic exports.
As for the rest of the neighborhood, $ 14.4 million worth of products were sold in Armenia this year, bringing the Armenian market share to 3.9% of total domestic exports. In January-February 2021, Georgia sold 29.5% more to Armenia than in the first two months of 2020.
Georgian products worth $ 43.6 million have been sold in another neighboring country, Turkey. With this indicator, Turkey is equal to 11.8 of Georgia's total domestic exports. This year, Georgia increased its exports of home-made products by 37.1.
Most Georgian products are sold this year in Russia, which accounts for 17.6% of the country's local exports. Georgia sold $ 64.9 million worth of products to its northern neighbor in the first two months of 2021. The rate has increased by 20.5% on an annual basis.
According to the National Statistics Office of Georgia, in January-February 2021, the share of the ten largest countries in Georgia's total domestic exports amounted to 78.3 percent. The largest export partners are Russia ($ 64.9 million), China ($ 50.9 million), and Turkey ($ 43.6 million).
In January-February 2021, copper ores and concentrates are in the top ten local exports with $ 94.5 million, accounting for 25.6 percent of total domestic exports. Ferroalloys came in second with $ 52.1 million (14.1 percent of total local exports), followed by natural grape wines with $ 25.9 million (7.0 percent of total local exports).
