Georgian Justice Minister Rati Bregadze says that the Fraser Institute rating points to the fact that the right to own property is protected in Georgia, and the country has a legal environment in which citizens' safety is secured.
''Georgia's advancement in the Global Economic Index rating indicates that the Georgian government works effectively,'' he stressed.
In the Index of Global Economic Freedom, Georgia leveled up by three points and now ranks fifth with is 8.26 points.
