"We do not rule out the possibility of making an optimistic decision if the epidemiological situation keeps improving in the country, move forward the market opening date and allow them to resume functioning earlier than 15 February; however, we cannot yet say this for certain," Minister of Economy Natia Turnava said.
In Turnava's words, they conducted a meeting with market heads and introduced representatives of the sector to the methodology which the entire team of epidemiologists employs to assess the situation and make the corresponding decisions.
The minister stressed that the current situation is rather favorable.
