The government of Georgia will help Georgians who have been employed seasonally in different countries, the Foreign Ministry reports.

Self-employed citizens should register on the Foreign Ministry (https://compensation.moh.gov.ge/) until July 15, 2020. No other documents are required.

About 105,000 self-employed citizens have received government aids, as they lost their income due to the crisis caused by the novel coronavirus pandemic.

Since June 26, the number of beneficiaries has increased.

Self-employed people working per season abroad will also receive one-time 300-GEL financial aid.

As of June 26, 156,186 self-employed citizens registered on the website of the Ministry of Health.

A total of 104,547 have already received compensations in the amount of 300 GEL.

The government of Georgia allocated 31,364.000 GEL for this purpose.
