Georgian PM Irakli Gharibashvili's visit to Spain is underway. Together with King of Spain Philip VI and Queen Letizia, Mr. Gharibashvili opened the World Tourist Exhibition hosted by the IFEMA Convention Center. Georgia is participating in the event as a partner country. 

The Georgian PM and Spain's royal consorts attended the performance by the Georgian Dance Academy called Georgia, which was founded by the Georgian diaspora in Spain. 

The President of the FITUR International Committee and the Head of the Executive Committee of the Convention Center addressed the participants of the FITUR 2021 opening ceremony. 

Vice Prime Minister Davit Zalkaliani, Minister of Economy and Sustainable Development Natia Turnava, and Minister of Environment Protection and Agriculture Levan Davitashvili are members of the Georgian delegation in Spain led by PM Gharibashvili. 

Special stand for Georgia at the World Tourist Exhibition enables international tour operators, companies, and representatives of different media outlets to collect more information on Georgia and its travel destinations. 

Around 100 countries are involved in the International Travel Fair.
