In Poland, Georgian wines were awarded gold and silver medals at the International Rosé Championship 2020, the National Wine Agency of Georgia reports.
The Georgian wines were presented by the Polish organization Malinova, which is the agency's contractor.
- Iberieli - "Zurab Topuridze Chkhaveri (Guria) - 2018" and the wine cellar "Dimna" (Imereti) - "Dzelshavi 2017" won the gold medals.
- Telavi Wine Cellar - "Tskriala Rose (Kakheti) - 2019", "Saperavi Rose (Kakheti) - 2019" and "Lapati Wines" - "Kidev Erti Pet Nati (Kartli) - 2016" received silver medals.
The jury included 12 best experts from seven countries of the world headed by and Elizabeth Gabay, the master of wine.
As reported by the Georgian National Wine Agency, 220 wines from 28 countries were presented.
"The success of Georgian wine in the prestigious international competition confirms its high quality and enhances its recognition worldwide,'' the National Wine Agency said.
