Oil prices rose at ICE London Stock Exchange, with Brent crude up 1.3%, at $81.05 a barrel. Report News Agency informs referring to Investing.com

US West Texas Intermediate (WTI) crude grew 0.99%, to $77.75 a barrel. 

At the OPEC+ meeting, they decided to increase oil production by 400,000 barrels. 

The declining demand for oil triggered by the coronavirus pandemic caused OPEC + to reduce production by 9.7 million barrels since May last year.

However, from August 2021, the Alliance increased oil production by 400 thousand barrels per month.

Since then, the organization's member states have met every month and discussed the production plan for the coming month.
