As part of the anti-crisis agricultural plan, Director of the Rural Development Agency Ilia Tamarashvili has attended the process of issuing agro-cards in the Mtskheta-Mtianeti region.
He said the process continues intensively.
''The points transferred by the government on the agro-cards imply direct support to the farmers. It allows the farmers to continue agricultural work and receive the harvest smoothly,'' Ilia Tamarashvili said.
As First Deputy Governor of Mstketa-Mtianeti Manana Narimanidze said, the farmers intensively engage in the program.
The beneficiaries having accounts in Liberty Bank have been receiving the points under the program to stimulate landowners, and the bank gradually distributes the agro cards.
Farmers can purchase goods via transferred points.
When visiting the bank, farmers should have their ID cards.
Natural and legal entities should own registered land plots to enjoy the government subsidy.
The program budget totals 37 mln GEL.
