''We must offer various instruments to the Georgian business to enable it to continue operation and resume competitiveness,'' Vice PM, Minister of Regional Development and Infrastructure Maia Tskitishvili said.
In her words, one of the supporting instruments is the creation of the loan guarantee mechanisms, and the government is working with the commercial banks and National Bank to elaborate on specific packages, responding to the challenges in different sectors.
''The package includes supporting the business in a two-billion GEL limit during the crisis,'' she said, adding the Georgian government is responsible for the Georgian business.
''We are working with different sectors to offer the sector-oriented mechanisms,'' Tskitishvili said, adding the government will develop specific programs that will enable the business sector to receive the government support when taking new loans.
