"This is the tragedy of the entire nation" Ekaterine Tikaradze, Minister of Internally Displaced Persons from the Occupied Territories, Labour, Health and Social Affairs of Georgia, commented on the 15-year-old minor's death.
"I think that the entire system is flawed, and one person only cannot be held accountable. This is the tragedy of the entire nation, and we must fight against it through joint efforts," Tikaradze said.
The Minister also stressed that the involvement of social workers in similar cases is of utmost significance.
"The involvement of psychologists and social workers in similar cases is critical to eradicating the existing shortcomings at schools," the Minister said and added that similar tragedies must end.
