A record number of international visitors distinguished the year of 2019 as it reached 9,35 million in Georgia.
The number of visitors from the United States also increased fast.
The US visitors' number included 174 272 visitors in total in 2015 – 2019.
The US visitors spend most and are on top in Georgia, with average spending of 4,115 GEL per visit.
The US visitors spent more than 190 million GEL in 2019 in Georgia that exceeds 2.2% of the total tourism incomes in 2019.
Georgia, US has launched talks on direct flights by DELTA AIRLINES and United Airlines.

If succeeded, the talks between Georgia and US air companies will significantly increase the tourists' number and support the establishment of new cooperation platform between the countries.
The US role in strategic energy projects is excellent in Georgia. The US assistance played a crucial role in the implementation of the projects, like Baku-Tbilisi-Ceyhan and South Caucasus Pipeline.
The EU and US support in the TANAP and TAP projects helped the emergence of new possibilities for Georgia.
The US is the fifth country according to monetary transfers.
The United States is one of the most significant and essential export partners, as Georgia exports its wine to the US and the number of the exported bottles gradually increases.
