Elgreen Energy Company has publicized tariffs on imported electricity in March 2021.

According to the company, electricity imports to Georgia in March 2021 stood at 603.7 mln kWh, out of which 329.3 mln kWh was transported from Russia, 191.1 mln kWh from Azerbaijan, and 83.3 mln kWh from Turkey.

Elgreen says that on 1-15 March, Georgia carried out imports from Azerbaijan only and paid 4.4 cents for its electricity. However, ''since 15 March, imports were carried out from Russia, Azerbaijan, and Turkey simultaneously,'' the company representatives said, adding that on 16 March, when the city and half of the customers of the country were left without electricity after the high-voltage power line malfunctioned, some customers in Georgia were still supplied with electricity.

On 15-30 March, Turkey's electricity tariff amounted to 4.39 cents, Russia's 3.5/3.7/7.8, and Azerbaijan's 3.9/3.9/6.5.
