The introduction of artificial intelligence in the strategic sectors of the country, the need for a national plan, and taking international experience into account – these are only several issues from the ones examined in the report published as part of the BTU AI initiative.
Following the report, artificial intelligence will lead to increasing the sectors' efficiency and ensure the development of transforming industries, the requalification of employees for new job markets, inclusive education, and economy, and digital transformation of health, agriculture, and other sectors of strategic importance.
The report reads that the national strategy requires all relevant foundations to activate for planning and implementation of the national policy, as well as the investments and management of processes.
BATU-AI founder Mikheil Batiashvili says the University is ready to collaborate with all stakeholders to ensure the development of the strategy and action plan.
''BTU-AI was created to initiate fundamental, high-tech changes in different sectors. It is the first educational area in the region, supporting the integration of the artificial intelligence in different industries,'' Mikheil Batiashvili says, adding he is happy to see large-scale research having been conducted, and BTU has elaborated the stages for developing the national strategy of artificial intelligence.
The United Nations Centre for AI and Robotics supported the research conduction.
