As agrarian expert Anzor Meskhishvili says, the closure of Georgia's town of Marneuli due to coronavirus fears will cause the product price to increase.
He supposes that the price of greens, onion, garlic, and the potato will increase, as Marneuli and Bolnisi were the suppliers.
But, Meskhishvili adds no severe price growth is on the forecast.
''There will be no drastic changes, as the imported product is also on the market. Supposedly, the price of greens, onion, and potato will increase,'' he said.
Georgian government announced a severe lockdown in Marneuli and Bolnisi municipality last night due to a Marneuli resident woman being positive to the novel coronavirus.
