Israeli MASHAV program to be expanded in Georgia's region of Guria

Israeli Ambassador to Georgia Ran Gidor and MASHAV Program Manager Giorgi Zhgenti visited the Guria region as part of the conducted and planned projects.

As the Israeli Embassy reports, meetings were held to expand collaboration with the partner organization Shalom Club Guria, founded by graduates of MASHAV.

Ran Gidor held a meeting with the board of Shalom Club Guria, headed by Zaur Osepaishvili.

The officials discussed the new support, which will help the Shalom Club Guria purchase water purification equipment for schools across the region.

Ran Gidor and George Zhgenti also visited the Seraphim Children Rehabilitation Center in Ureki.

Notably, the organization Shalom Club Guria celebrated its 17th anniversary in 2020.

MASHAV is the Israeli Agency for International Development Cooperation managed by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
