The Kulevi Oil Terminal has processed 424.5 thousand tons of oil and oil products, Azerbaijan's media outlets report, citing Head of Public Relations department at SOCAR, Ibrahim Ahmadov.
In Mr. Ahmadov's words, the Kulevi Oil Terminal has so far transported 4.02 mln tonnes of crude oil and 24.1 mln tonnes of oil products. The overall capacity of the terminal is 10 mln tonnes of oil products annually, including three mln tonnes of oil, three mln tonnes of diesel fuel, and four mln tons of black oil.
The Kulevi Oil Terminal’s major transshipment cargo includes gasoil, fuel oil, crude oil, gas, methanol, gasoline, and heavy pyrolysis resin. In early 2020, it started transporting benzene.
In January of 2021, compared to January 2020, the cargo turnover at the Kulevi Oil Terminal increased from 0.1 million tons to 0.2 million tons.
