"Introducing minimum wage in developing countries like Georgia does not work, just as it is pointless in developed countries such as Sweden and Switzerland where there is no minimum wage", Nika Nanuashvili, the Lawyer of Business Association of Georgia said.
Nanuashvili thinks that the introduction of a minimum wage in countries like Georgia is most damaging to people with low experience who are just now entering the labor market. The human rights defender says that the EU directives do not require the introduction of a minimum wage.
Planned changes in Roman Code will be discussed in the near future.
