In Georgia, raw milk for households and extensive commercial farms continues to rise year by year, "Dairy farming in Georgia" reports.
Besides, the difference between the average prices of these two groups is too high.
This fact is a signal that the need for large manufacturers is growing on the market.
"Also, efficient production and low cost of milk are necessary," the business association said.
Following the association, amidst high inflation in the country, milk producers have to raise prices on their products or leave the market.
Households sell raw milk at 0.80 GEL, and extensive commercial farms for one GEL.
According to the business association, such high prices are unprecedented at this time of year.
"Compared to last year, raw milk price went up in both groups: in households - by 5%, and extensive commercial farms - by 13%," the organization's study said.
