In September, the minimum wage of working men was GEL 189.9. In October, this number increased by GEL 3 amounting GEL 192.9.
According to the latest data in October the amount for a single person was GEL 170.8, it increased by GEL 2.6; For two people living in the family - GEL 273.3, increased by GEL 4.1; For three - GEL 307.5, increased by GEL 4.7; for four people – GEL 341.7, increased by GEL 5,2; For five – GEL 384.4, increased by GEL 5,9; Six and more - GEL 454.4, increased by GEL 6.90.
the National Statistics Office of Georgia sets a living wage. The basket consists 40 types of products - bread, cereals, meat, dairy products, vegetables and pastry.
