In June 2020, the total volume of money transfers Georgia received equaled 169.2 million USD (514.8 million GEL), which is 17.8% or 25.6 million USD more than in 2019, the National Bank of Georgia reports.
Following the National Bank, Georgia received 94.5% of money transfersfrom 18 largest partner countries (about one million USD from each country).
In June 2018, these 18 countries accounted for 93.2% of total remittances.
In June 2020, $21.9 million (66.6 million GEL) was sent from Georgia, 25.4% more than in June 2019 ($17.5 million).
