Georgian Economic Minister Natia Turnava will open the Energy Week Georgia 2020, Georgia's Ministry of Economy reports.
As the Ministry reports, more than 300 visitors from 15 countries will take part in the international investment forum starting January 28, 2020.
The opening ceremony will be held at the Sheraton Grand Metechi Palace hotel in Tbilisi, Georgia.
The Invest In Network consultation company is the event organizer with its headquarters in the UK.
The event participants will discuss the challenges Georgia is facing, decisions regarding energy security, promotion of renewable energy use, and measure for increasing its efficiency, as well as the energy sector reform and massive investment projects.
The energy companies like Total Eren (France), Acciona Energia (Spain), NBT AS (Norway), Çalık Enerji (Turkey), Masdar (UAE), Scatec Solar (Norway), Grupo Cobra (Spain), GS E&C (Korea) and others will participate in the event.
