According to the NDI public opinion poll surveys, unemployment constitutes the main national issue with 48% of respondents thinking this way, whereas 34% name inflation/price growth. For 33% poverty is the most serious issue, 29% thinks it is territorial integrity, 22% define pensions and 19% salaries as the most serious national issues. Medical service, human rights and restitution of justice with 18%, 8% and 6% respectively are also in the list of the major issues in the country, while equal number of people (12%) regard education and Russian-Georgian relations as the most serious problems.
The public opinion survey was conducted on 13-29 July, with 2132 people participating in it.
The average margin of error is 1.7%.
