10/35/10 kilovolt substation "Shusha" opened in Shusha. The opening ceremony was attended by the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev, First Lady Mehriban Aliyeva, their daughters Leyla Aliyeva and Arzu Aliyeva. The new substation will connect the city of Shusha with the general energy system of Azerbaijan.
A 110-kilovolt Shusha substation and a 75-kilometer overhead power transmission line connect Shusha to the Fizuli lighthouse substation. The substation is fully digital.
Although the substation and power line construction was carried out in difficult geographical conditions, it was completed in the shortest possible time. The 110-kilovolt dual-circuit power line has been installed for 73 days, a record in the history of not only Azerbaijan but also the energy system of the region.
