The Energy and Water Supply Regulatory Commission plans to develop a new rule of charging electric vehicles in 2020.
As the Commission Head Davit Narmania says, the commission is studying the European experience and will elaborate on the new regulations based on the local requirements.
''We are entitled to set a new rule on the electric vehicles chargers and related issues,'' he said.
''We are currently studying the European experience and will establish the new rule in 2020 following the local requirements. The issues related to the access to electric power network will be regulated,'' Narmania said.
