A 42-container train loaded with mining industry products has arrived in the Baku port. The export train from Turkey to China is a new logistic product carried out by ADY Container, together with its partners, in Turkey, Georgia, and Kazakhstan.

The next 40-foot container Turkish export train has arrived in the Baku port; it is now traveling on the BTK railway and is set to be sent to Kazakhstan's Aktau Sea Port in the Beket Ata vessel.

The transport operators are as follows: ADY Container (Azerbaijan), KTZ Express (Kazakhstan), GR Logistics (Georgia), and Pacific Eurasia Logistics (Turkey).

At the end of 2020, Turkey started exports to China via the railroad. Earlier, it used to opt for the sea. The Turkish Trade Minister Ruhsar Pekcan says that the outcome has met the expectations.

"Transportation time was reduced to 13 days thanks to the railway, and cargo delivery proved possible by the sea in 35-40 days," she said.

According to the Minister, Turkey has actively been involved in 5 582 regional projects worth $ 201.9 billion.

Turkey sent several export trains loaded with BSC refrigerators to China on December 21 via the railroad.

A freight train made the first transit from Turkey to China via the Baku-Tbilisi-Kars railway. It covered a total of 693 kilometers.

A train from Turkey enters Georgia and is transferred to Azerbaijan's railway system afterward. The Turkish-Chinese train remains in Georgia for around 21 hours.

The export train to China has traveled on the Baku-Tbilisi-Kars railway for the first time.

The Ministry of Economy says that freight transported to China through the BTK has increased by 371.9%.

Azerbaijan has also started exports via the BTK railway.
