In January-May of 2021, 22 305 people from Azerbaijan visited Georgia.
In May alone, 5 704 people from Azerbaijan visited Georgia, which is 74.1% more than in the same month last year.
However, the overall figure for January-May this year is 245 711 people, 91.7% lower than the same period last year.
According to the number of tourists in Georgia during the first five months, Azerbaijan ranks 4th after Turkey, Armenia, and Russia.
