The Competition Agency of Georgia has completed the car insurance market monitoring.
As it studied, only 10,4% of the drivers enjoy the insurance service in Georgia.
The agency studied the data for 2015 – 2019.
The study shows that the car insurance market increased from 46,6 mln to 96,8 mln GEL, i.e., 108%.
There were 13 economic agents at the car insurance market in 2015, and the number reached 16 in 2019.
The number of registered cars increased from 1,106 mln to 1,376 mln in 2015 – 2019. The growth rate was 24,5%.
The share of insured cars was 7,15% in 2015, while it reached 10,4% in 2019.
