Georgian Minister of Agriculture Levan Davitashvili attended a presentation of a new project ''People of Wine'' at Tbilisi Wine Museum today.
The project aims to support the small and family cellars producing wine.
Teliani Valley wine company is conducting the project in collaboration with the National Wine Agency of Georgia.
According to Levan Davitashvili, the new project is in full compliance with the Georgian government's policy.
''It is the best example of cooperation between large companies and small cellars,'' he said.
The project envisages popularization and sale of high-quality wines, produced by less commercial species of grapes.
The first collection of the project includes ten different wines produced in small cellars in Bolnisi, Kvemo Kartli region, Georgia.
The project will support the population of Bolnisian wine and the expansion of small and family cellars, producing wine.
