A new draft of the Administrative Offenses Code says that a person will be held administratively responsible for damaging a windbreak belt.
The parliament is to examine the bill shortly.
Under the code, a person committing an offense like destruction or damage of green plants in a windbreak belt will be subject to a penalty equalling 2,000 GEL.
Cutting trees and bushes will lead to a fine of 1,000 GEL.
