Head of the Department for Investments of Produce in Georgia Kristine Meparishvili states that the agency plans to create 3,500 export-focused, high-paid jobs in next two years and to attract 225 mln USD investment.

The six-year study has revealed most prospective business sectors to Georgia.

Immovable property and tourism, energy and logistics remain the key fields of priority.

‘We have several new sectors of great potential including the so-called business processes outsourcing and outsourcing service in general,’ said Meparishvili, adding that the outsourcing includes simple services such as call-center, online chats and knowledge-based services, for example financial, architectural and engineering outsourcing.

Meparishvili stated the agency has been involved in negotiations with several manufacturers of parts of vehicles.
