PM Gakharia says he sees 'healthy guys complaining'

''Recently, I have heard healthy guys complaining in the city that there are no tourists,'' Georgian Prime Minister Giorgi Gakharia said when he met with farmers in the village of Nikozi, Shida Kartli region of Georgia.

He says the 'healthy guys' ask the government for help as they do not know what to do.

He says young people will always be able to do business, adding the government must first help socially vulnerable groups of people.

In his words, healthy and educated people need to create all the conditions to receive income for his family or create jobs.

"First, I arrived here three years ago. There were only small seedlings. It is the simplest example of what labor can result in," PM Gakharia said.

He claims the agricultural sector can meet domestic demand and export the product.

Gakharia says that during the pandemic, the local industry's importance became obvious, adding the industrialization of rural areas should take place.
