''Tourism is good, but we see a high risk of importing the infection. Thus, we must be as careful as possible not to create a hazard for Georgia's safety because of tourism,'' Georgian Prime Minister Giorgi Gakharia declared.
He said all Georgians should engage in domestic tourism.
Gakharia added that there must not be any risks for the health of the Georgian citizens. It will be the most significant factor when opening Georgia for international visitors.
"The infection imported via tourism may cost high foreign tourists may fail to recover the damage. Thus, we should take reasonable steps,'' Gakharia stated.
He also noted that negotiations are underway with the Baltic countries, Poland, Czech Republic, and Austria.
