According to the National Statistics Office of Georgia among top 10 companies of 2018, five are gambling facilities. Ltd Mars (Crystallbet); Ltd Lider Bet Slot (Lider-Bet); Ltd BetLive (BetLive); Ltd Champions 111 (EuropeBet) and Ltd Aviator (Adjarabet, Casino Aviator).
Gambling is one of the most profitable businesses in Georgia and its turnover is growing every year. The turnover of gambling business increased by 128% in 2018. If the sector turnover in 2017 was GEL 6,050 billion, in 2018 it was GEL 13,806 billion.
In the list of the companies with the highest turnover of 2018, two places are listed by SOCAR, with Ltd SOCAR Georgia Petroleum and Ltd SOCAR Georgia Gas.
Companies like Ltd Georgian Manganese, ENERGO-PRO Georgia and Toyota Caucasus LLC also made it to the top 10.
Turnover of business sector in Georgia in the second quarter of 2019 increased by 26.6% compared to the same period of last year and amounted GEL 25.2 billion.
