"Georgia welcomes and supports the development of the Southern Gas Corridor, the expansion of the South Caucasus Pipeline as well as the development of the Trans-Adriatic Pipeline (TAP) and the Trans-Anatolian Pipeline (TANAP)", Giorgi Gakharia the Prime Minister of Georgia said.
He also noted the importance of including the Eastern Partnership countries in the Trans-European Transport Network (TEN-T) in terms of strengthening transport links with the EU.
"Free trade regimes with China and with the European Union will offer great opportunities for both local and international investors," the Prime Minister said.
Tbilisi Silk Road Forum will be held on October 22-23, 2019. The forum is a platform for dialogue between governments and businesses, providing a platform for bilateral and multilateral meetings between government, organizations and business representatives.
