Registration of farmers to receive cheap agro-diesel continues in Georgia.
As Georgia's Rural Development Agency reports, the process is underway remotely on the Ministry of Environment and Agriculture's official website.
Program Manager Levan Urotadze, Mayor Archil Khandamashvili, and representatives of SOCAR Georgia Petroleum observed the program's progress in the municipality of Gurjaani.
In Urotadze's words, farmers enjoy the state program's benefits for the promotion of agro-diesel fuel.
"The Rural Development Agency, with SOCAR Georgia Petroleum, the Rural Development Agency has been implementing this program for the second year already. This year, an innovation has appeared in the program - farmers can register and receive a discount on agro-diesel also through the web page," Urotadze said.
The program is underway following a deal signed between the Ministry of Environment and Agriculture of Georgia and SOCAR Georgia Petroleum.
