The novel coronavirus pandemic has made Georgia and Azerbaijan postpone tourism collaboration.

As EU-Georgia Business Council reports, consultations and communications are intensely underway with Azerbaijan despite the COVID – 19 pandemic.

Council CEO Giorgi Kacharava says that in May, a joint business forum was conducted as part of the close collaboration with the Caspian European Club, and Kazakhstan also engaged in it.

"Besides, we have sent a whole set of attractive projects to Azerbaijan to attract Azerbaijani companies to Georgia's free industrial zones,'' Kacharava told report.ge.

He added that the Azerbaijani investors show interest in fields like banking, construction, furniture production.

As for the Georgian investors' interests in the Azerbaijani ten-mln market, exporters of non-alcohol beverages have activated.
