Annual remittance flows have grown by 6% in Georgia, with this being a low increase if compared to the previous week, according to the TBC Capital weekly review.  

Per the review, highest remittance flows are from Azerbaijan and Ukraine, with them followed by Armenia and North America. 

Remittances from Russia have remained low. From the Middle East, including Turkey, remittance flows have decreased; however, from the EU and UK, they have increased. 

After a 17.8% increase in June, an annual remittance growth amounted to 22.1% in July.  

Remittance flows from Georgia to foreign countries have gone up by 15.6%.
