Young Barristers summarized activities of 2020 and awarded the judiciary, media, public and private sectors.

Bela Gelashvili, the editor of business and economy at report.ge, became the Defender of Free Speech 2020.

The head of the organization Archil Kaikatsishvili thanked the journalist for responsible and operative cooperation.

News agency report.ge often writes about human rights. The department of economics pays special attention to business disputes.

"On behalf of myself and report.ge, I would like to thank the Young Barristers for recognition. For the second time, I have the honor of being the preferred journalist of lawyers. I became a "Free Speech Defender" in 2017 as well. We mostly cooperate on themes concerning business disputes. As you know, private property's supremacy is the main precondition for the country's economic progress, so all decisions in this direction are important and interesting for me. There is a lot to be done regarding the efficiency of business disputes, and I hope that our cooperation will further convince the government to speed up the solution of the problem," Bela Gelashvili said after the award ceremony.

By the decision of the executive team of Young Barristers, one court, three public agencies, two institutions, three media publications, and 13 journalists were awarded in 2020.
