The so-called parliament of Georgia's Russia-occupied Abkhazia region has addressed the Russian State Duma and showed readiness for the Russia-Armenia railway project involvement via Abkhazia.
Local media say that the Abkhazian parliament's international affairs committee held a session on this issue on February 4, and the committee head Astamur Logua stated that 'Abkhazia should be unblocked.'
'We hope to succeed in Abkhazia to become the project participant with equal terms and conditions...The 21st century is when the isolation policy should be over, modern realities should be recognized, and normal relations should develop,' - Logua declared.
