Construction of water supply systems for six villages of Gardabani will be completed ahead of schedule. The Ministry of Regional Development and Infrastructure was informed about it from the "United Water Supply Company." According to them, the works are underway, and after completion, 15,000 residents of the villages of Zemo and Kvemo Teleti, Akhaltskali, Tsalaskuri, Mukhranteleti, and Kumisi will enjoy uninterrupted water supply for the first time. Ilia Begiashvili, the First Deputy Minister of Infrastructure, got acquainted with the progress of the project together with the employees of the local government and United Water Supply Company.
"An unprecedented amount of investment is being made in the country in the field of water supply this year. In Georgia, projects worth GEL 2 billion 600 million are underway at almost 150 locations, including Gardabani, which includes a 24-hour water supply to six villages with high-standard water. Water supply systems in these villages still do not exist. The project is quite large, involving about GEL 10 million. The rarest thing is that the project, which was supposed to be completed in the second half of 2022, will probably be ready by the end of the summer," said Ilia Begiashvili.
