Today, SOCAR is Georgia's main gas supplying company, according to the CEO of the SOCAR oil company Rovnag Abdullayev. Turkey was provided by more than 12 bln CBM gas on 30 June 2018, when the Southern Gas Corridor started functioning.

In Abdullayev's words, the company has also started distributing gas to Greece, Bulgaria, and Italy, and it actively operates in Europe.

It is noteworthy that in the first three months of 2021, Azerbaijan sold 784 million cubic meters of gas to Georgia.

According to the CEO of the SOCAR, the investment value of the Southern Gas Corridor totals about $33 bln; it has already covered seven countries and connected the Caspian Sea region to Southeast Europe.
