SOCAR produced 5 mln 900,466 thousand tons of oil in January-September of 2021, Report News Agency informs referring to the company's press office, which shared the news with Interfax-Azerbaijan.
According to SOCAR, in January-September of 2020, it produced 5 mln 565.668 thousand tons of oil. Hence, oil production increased by 6% over the 9 months of 2021.
Gas production by SOCAR has amounted to 5 bln 873 mln 773,941 thousand CBM (a 7.1% increase).
In the third quarter of 2021, the company produced 1 mln 987.644 thousand tons of oil and 2 bln 2,497 mln CBM of gas. Oil production in this time period saw a 10.2% increase, while gas production witnessed 8.7% growth compared to the third quarter of 2020.
In 2020, SOCAR produced 7 mln 407,206 tons of oil (a 3.6% decrease gompared to that of 2019) and 7 bln 344.012 CBM gas (a 7.7% increase).
