SOCAR Georgia Petroleum projects that the fuel price will stabilize in summer.
SOCAR Georgia Petroleum Director Levan Giorgadze states that it is difficult to foresee the fuel prices, as many factors influence the price-making process.
He adds that no considerable fluctuations are expected in the market, and no sharp decrease or increase in the fuel price is projected this summer.
"It is impossible to forecast prices, but the demand increases as economic activities intensify, and all this influences the price. We do not expect any vital fluctuations, and from my point of view, we will see stable prices this summer,'' Giorgadze told report.ge.
Oil market experts say international oil prices, exchange rates, and altering demand determine the local fares.
One liter SUPER category petrol costs 2.10 GEL at SOCAR petrol stations, while the PREMIUM price is 1.90 GEL, REGULAR – 1.80.
One liter diesel costs 1.80 GEL at the SOCAR stations, while EURO diesel costs 1.90 GEL, and one cubic meter of gas costs 1.30 GEL.
