As of July 24, more than 115,000 Georgian farmers have already received a transferred amount of agro-scores as part of the government program.
The amount of the transferred subsidy exceeds 21 mln GEL.
As the Ministry reports, the transfer of the agro-points will continue.
For the last two weeks, the amount transferred as the agro-scores increased by seven mln.
As of June 10, farmers had 14 mln GEL equivalent scores on their agro-cards.
Natural and legal entities owning land plots of 0.25 – 100-hectare area (registered in the National Public Registry) will buy diesel with a discount as part of the new government project.
Farmers will receive 150-liter discount cards per hectare.
Those who own more than 100-hectare land plots will receive at least 15,000-litre discount cards.
The program-involved farmers will be allowed to buy diesel with 0.20 GEL discount at consolidated tenders from wholesale bases of Socar Georgia Petroleum, while they will enjoy 0.16 GEL discount at petrol stations.
